What's the local government challenge?
In a time of economic downturn, it's more important than ever that councils are seen as forward-thinking, innovative and efficient organisations and good places to work. The LGA Group wants to celebrate the diverse talent in local authorities and promote working in the sector.
The Local Government Challenge is an exciting new competition, which seeks out talented individuals and tests their ingenuity, creativity, ability to lead and potential to become top local government executives. This competition is a unique combination of political and managerial expertise.
